From Tuesday, June 17, 2025, a solo exhibition of painter and illustrator Minahamu will be held in the special exhibition room of the Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Garden in Tokyo.

Since its opening in 1988, Tokyo Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Garden (commonly known as Yumenetsu) has been displaying tropical and subtropical plants in an ecological and landscape-based manner as a facility that broadly introduces the relationship between tropical plants and our lives.
The art exhibition "Yumenetsu x Minahamu Pop-up Exhibition" held last year was very well received by visitors and provided an opportunity for more people to become familiar with "Yumenetsu."
In response to this positive response, we will be holding a solo exhibition titled "Life in a Botanical Garden," which will be larger in scale than our previous exhibition.
Minahamu, who works as a painter and illustrator, freely switches between analog and digital techniques to create stories-filled worlds.
Set in the Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Garden, where visitors can experience a rich natural environment, the numerous artworks that allow visitors to enjoy scenes of diverse plants and people provide an experience that evokes memories for visitors.
In addition to the nine canvas works from the previous exhibition, this time the exhibition will add approximately 11 new analogue works. The raw drawings, which allow us to vividly feel the sure brushstrokes that only the artist can trace and the time it took to create them, demonstrate the rare presence of an artist who is active in a wide range of fields in this day and age.
This time, original merchandise commemorating the Yumenetsu collaboration will be on sale at the museum shop.
Enjoy this event that allows you to experience the world of Minahamu and the charm of Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Gardens.
